HEY GUYS! IT'S ME, MAYA MARTINEZ. (:
A little bit of background information on me. I was born and raised in South Texas and I have been a cheerleader and dancer since I was two years old. My mom actually used to own a gymnasium for kids ages 2-18! That business was open nearly 20 years. She had mats and trampolines and all sorts of cool stuff to help kids learn Cheerleading, Tumbling, Ballet, Hip Hop, and Jazz. That's really where my love for all things cheer and dance began. I competed in solo dances, duos, trios, and many teams in cheer and dance. I have been fortunate enough to win many awards and even cash prizes all throughout the country.

Now that I am in high school, I have joined my school cheer team and was chosen as JV captain my first year of school cheerleader. During that first year at summer camp, I also got UCA All-American. My cheer and dance journey has been a long and incredible one, and I love the fact that I can now share my advice and knowledge to you!
